Top 15 Teams in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 11

Week 10 of the 2019 NFL season concluded with some unusual endings. We saw the third-ranked New Orleans Saints lose by 23 points to their hated rival, the Atlanta Falcons. The Kansas Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills were also taken down as well. However, the Saints lost at home to the lowly Falcons shows the true meaning of Any Given Sunday in the National Football League. No opponent can be taken lightly, no matter what their record may indicate.

To cap things off last night, the number one ranked San Francisco suffered their first loss of the season against their division rival the Seattle Seahawks. The game concluded in overtime after the Seahawks kicked a game-winning field goal to hand the Niners their first defeat of the season. San Francisco is now 8-1 and only has a one-game lead in the NFC West over the Seahawks. The top 15 teams in the NFL power rankings for Week 11 are as follows.

1. Baltimore Ravens: 7-2 (Previous Ranking 4th)

They gave the Patriots their first loss of the season, followed by a 49-13 beat down on the Cincinnati Bengals. They are playing the best of the level of football right now. Don’t forget that they went into Seattle and dropped 30 on the Seahawks.

2. San Francisco 49ers: 8-1 (Previous Ranking 1st)

Even after the loss against Seattle, this ball club will still be a tough out for any opponent. Their defense will play a huge role in their success going forward.

3. New England Patriots: 8-1 (Previous Ranking 2nd)

Is their defense historical, or was it because of a soft schedule, they were able to mask deficiencies?

4. Seattle Seahawks: 8-2 (Previous Ranking 5th)

Last night Russell Wilson showed you why he is in the lead for Most Valuable Player in 2019. Who knows how many games this team would lose without him?

5. Green Bay Packers: 8-2 (Previous Ranking 10th)

As far as Aaron Rodgers can go, the Packers will go. He is the critical cog in their success.

6. New Orleans Saints: 7-2 (Previous Ranking 3rd)

By far, the Saints suffered the biggest upset of the season by losing to the Atlanta Falcons. The team is now going into division gauntlet to close out their season. How they perform in those matchups may determine if they can secure home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

7. Minnesota Vikings: 7-3 (Previous Ranking 15th)

After losing to a quarterback that was coaching high school football a year ago in Matt Moore, the Minnesota Vikings were able to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys. Minnesota can be so much better than their 7-3 record would indicate.

8. Houston Texans: 6-3 (Previous Ranking 7th)

Deshaun Watson is just on another level right now carrying the Houston Texans. It will be interesting to see how far they can go in the postseason.

9. Kansas City Chiefs: 6-4 (Previous Ranking 6th)

The Raiders are coming. The Chiefs can no longer afford to suffer gut-wrenching losses as they did against the Titans in Week 10.

10. Los Angeles Rams: 5-4

Despite their flaws, the Los Angeles Rams are still a dangerous football team.

11. Philadelphia Eagles: 5-4 (Previous Ranking 12th)

Not sure if this team will be able to get in sync for a deep postseason run.

12. Buffalo Bills: 6-3 (Previous Ranking 8th)

The Steelers and Raiders are right on their heels in regards to securing a wild card playoff spot. Does this football team have enough firepower on offense to finish strong? We have seen this story before from other clubs in previous years.

13. Indianapolis Colts: 6-4

Similar situation to the Chiefs, the Colts cannot afford to lose any more close games on the road or at home.

14. Oakland Raiders: 5-4

Jon Gruden knows what he is doing after all. The Raiders will be a hot ticket once they move to Las Vegas.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers: 5-4

There are no fancy toys on the Steelers offense to succeed. They are getting it done with defense and a solid running game. The Steelers of old are back.
