Texans vs. Ravens: Game of the Week Prediction

Texans Versus Ravens Prediction for Week 11

Not too long ago, quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson faced each other on a Saturday night at Memorial Stadium, which is located at Clemson, South Carolina. Watson would lead the Clemson Tigers to a 42-36 victory over Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals.

That same year, Deshaun Watson would lead the Tigers to a National Title win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both quarterbacks are now at the professional level and still are performing at an exceptionally high standard.

Both of their teams are at the top of their perspective divisions right now. The Baltimore Ravens are ranked number one in the Sports Talk 365′ s Top 15 Teams in the NFL Power Rankings right now. They have looked every bit the part of being the best team in the National Football League.

The Texans have survived a few nailbiters this season, which has allowed them to capture first place in the AFC South division. Their defense must not allow Lamar Jackson to have his way in this football game. They will have to get it done without their best player on defense in future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt. The All-Pro defensive end suffered a torn pectoral injury in the Week 9 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

The objective for the Texans defense will be to keep Lamar Jackson in the pocket and make him uncomfortable throwing the football. That strategy alone will be the key for the Texans to win this football game. Their quarterback Deshaun Watson and the rest of the offense should be able to put up some points against Ravens defense this Sunday.

Baltimore still has a solid defense, but it’s nowhere near the levels of when players such as Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs were on the field. The Texans opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, will be trying to stay within reach of the New England Patriots for the number one seed in the AFC playoff picture. A win tomorrow against Houston will keep those hopes alive.

Expect Jackson to test the Texans weak secondary throughout this football game. They are currently ranked 29th in the league against the pass (277.3). Sports Talk 365 predicts a wild contest tomorrow between these two football teams. However, the Baltimore Ravens shall come out on top at the end. Houston’s defense does not have the personnel to contain Lamar Jackson for all four quarters tomorrow. This is your Texans versus Ravens prediction post for the Week 11 Game of the Week.
