2020 NFL Top 15 Team Power Rankings: Week 15

top 15 team power rankings for week 15

It was another week of the unexpected in the National Football League. During Week 14, the number two ranked New Orleans Saints were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21. The Saints’ loss was not because of what Carson Wentz could accomplish; it was due to the mobility of rookie Jalen Hurts. The Eagles decided to role with Hurts after witnessing the dismal outings of Carson Wentz every week.

With the Saints losing to Philadelphia, they are no longer the number one seed in the NFC playoff picture. That title now belongs to the Green Bay Packers. Even though Green Bay and New Orleans have the same records of 10-3, the Packers hold the tie-breaker between the two teams. The Packers defeated the Saints 37-30 in Week 3.

This is why teams such as the Saints always need to have a sense of urgency during the season. The slow starts to the season have still affected them in some way in the future. Other heavyweights such as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills were victorious in Week 14.
