Top 15 Teams in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 13

Over the last couple of weeks, we are finding out who are the best teams in the National Football League. We saw the primary example of that in last night’s 45-6 beat down of the Los Angeles Rams given by Sports Talk 365’s number one ranked Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore is clearly on a mission to dethrone New England once again and become the AFC’s representative for the Super Bowl down in Miami. The prime time match up the day before Monday Night Football occurred between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were outmatched from the start of this ball game until the conclusion. The number two ranked 49ers would leave Santa Clara with a 37-8 victory. The Niners now have to travel on the road to face the Baltimore Ravens in looks to be a potential Super Bowl LIV preview. The top 15 teams in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 13 are as follows.

1. Baltimore Ravens: 9-2

For the third consecutive game, the Ravens scored at least 40 or more points against their opponent. To put it, they are on a tear right now in the National Football League.

2. San Francisco 49ers: 10-1

Their defense minimizes one of the league’s most exceptional passers to only throw for 104 yards and one touchdown score. A potential Super Bowl matchup awaits them when they go on the road to face the Ravens in Week 13.

3. New England Patriots: 10-1

They are still winning football games despite the minimal production on the offensive side of the football. The Pats may be the only solution to slow down the vaunted Ravens offense.

4. New Orleans Saints: 9-2

A lot of Saints fans are disappointed in regards to how the team defeated the Carolina Panthers by a field goal in last week’s contest, but the team is 9-2 and could wrap up the NFC South by this Thursday night. However, the Saints have bigger goals than just winning the NFC South.

5. Seattle Seahawks: 9-2

The Seahawks could very well take control of the NFC West and possibly a top playoff seed within the next few weeks. Regardless of where they are seeded in the playoffs, the Seahawks are a very dangerous football team.

6. Minnesota Vikings: 8-3 (Previous Ranking 7th)

The Vikings need to win the rest of their football games, and the NFC North will be theirs for the taking. Similar to Seattle, the Vikings could disrupt the landscape of the NFC playoff picture.

7. Buffalo Bills: 8-3 (Previous Ranking 10th)

Who have they beaten that is formidable?

8. Kansas City Chiefs: 7-4

If the Chiefs defense can become consistent at the stopping opposing offenses, then they just might become the sleeper team to knockoff the Baltimore Ravens in the postseason.

9. Green Bay Packers: 8-3 (Previous Ranking 6th)

Green Bay’s defense has two solid players in Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith. If an opposing offense can minimize what they can do, then you will get a result from the Packers that you witnessed on Sunday night.

10. Houston Texans: 7-5

They might win the AFC South once again, but the Houston Texans will be one and done once again when the playoffs start. Their defense has been their Achilles’ heel.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers: 6-5 (Previous Ranking 15th)

No Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, and Mike Tomlin has the Pittsburgh Steelers as the current sixth seed in the AFC playoff picture. However, that all could change this Sunday when they take on the resurgent Cleveland Browns.

12. Indianapolis Colts: 6-5 (Previous Ranking 13th)

The Colts are a reliable football team that is capable of controlling the time of possession. However, they may need another option in the passing game to lineup opposite of T.Y. Hilton. Not having that second option could be their downfall this season.

13. Dallas Cowboys: 6-5 (Previous Ranking 9th)

The seat is getting hotter for Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett after last Sunday’s performance against the New England Patriots.

14. Oakland Raiders: 6-5 (Previous Ranking 11th)

The Raiders haven’t quite arrived just yet. But they are moving in the right direction.

15. Los Angeles Rams: 6-5 (Previous Ranking 12th)

What a difference in a year makes Los Angeles has fallen from the elite in the National Football League. Giving up two first-round picks for Jalen Ramsey may backfire on this team going forward. These are your top 15 teams in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 13.
